Say "I do" to great hair
With wedding season upon us, there's no better time to try out some of the most sophisticated and effortlessly glamorous styles around. Whether you're the bride to be or a guest who wants to look her best, these three runway-inspired styles are perfect, no matter your length!
Add a little sparkle
Whether your hair is short or long, curly or straight, blonde or brunette-headbands have officially made a comeback and some of the more intricate styles are perfect to wear to a wedding. We love to create loose, soft waves in hair that has a middle part prior to placing a headband. To create your waves, spray a small amount of texturizing salt spray throughout your hair and then wrap large 2-inch sections around the barrel of a curling iron. Tug on the ends to loosen the curl and to give the wave a barely-there look. Place your headband behind the face framing pieces to give the look a more romantic vibe.
Create a frizz-free style
Summer's heat and humidity often create frizz and unruly hair. This style sends frizz packing and it's perfect when paired with a halter or backless dress. Create your desired part-we're really feeling the middle part right now-and then brush back your hair and secure it in a tight low ponytail. Spray with a wet look gel to keep the style in place. From there, twist the ponytail and wrap it around itself at the base of your neck. Pin it in place with bobby pins that are the same color of your hair.
Channel your inner 60s babe
By pulling your hair away from your face and giving it a little lift with a small bouffant you can instantly evoke your inner 60s babe. For this look tease back your hair-from the middle of the top of your hair back to the crown-to the desired height. Smooth back the bouffant and tie with a small elastic or pin with a beautiful barrette. Spray with a strong-hold hairspray. Curl the length of your hair for a polished look!
