A ponytail isn't your only option when it comes to styling your hair for the gym. These three runway-inspired styles are both practical and pretty. They allow you to keep your hair out of your face so you can focus on your strength, not your strands. Next time you head to the gym try one of these sweat-worthy styles.

A Wet-Look Bun

The gym is the perfect place to give the wet-look a test run. This style not only keeps your strands in place while you're sweating it out, it also looks polished and professional post-workout. Brush a wet-look gel through your hair and pull it back into a ponytail. Braid the length of your ponytail, then twist the braid around itself, and pin it into a bun.

Half-Up on Short Hair

If your hair isn't long enough to pull back into a ponytail or bun, this look is for you. Pull back the top half of your hair into a ponytail at the back of the crown. Brush out any bumps with a comb before securing in place. Spray with a wet-look hairspray to lock in your style.

Braid it Back

A ponytail meets braided crown, this style is perfect for keeping your hair out of your eyes while you workout. Start this style by creating a French braid behind one of the ears and work across the top towards of the other ear. As you braid, pull from the front of your hair, feeding the front hairline into the back. Pin the braid in place and then secure the rest of your hair into a low side-ponytail. Pull out a few strategic face framing pieces and spray everything with a strong-hold hairspray to keep thing in place.
